Reko Diq Mining Company, a subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corporation, is recruiting a high-caliber team of individuals for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project—the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.
Open Positions
1. Senior Cost Controller
Department: Finance
Location: Reko Diq Site – Balochistan
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional management accounting certification (ACCA/CA/ICMA) is highly preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel and advanced data management tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cost control, reporting, and forecasting.
- Ensure budget alignment, early issue identification, and financial decision-making.
2. Senior Cost Analyst
Department: Finance
Location: Reko Diq Site – Balochistan
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional management accounting certification (ACCA/CA/ICMA) is highly preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cost analysis or financial analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- Strong background in ERP systems and financial modeling software.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor budgets, analyze variances, and provide financial insights.
- Ensure compliance and support financial integrity.
3. Mine Construction Surveyor
Department: MRM
Location: Reko Diq Site – Balochistan
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Proven experience in construction surveying, preferably in mining.
- Proficiency in surveying software such as AutoCAD, GIS, and Trimble Business Center.
Responsibilities:
- Perform precise land surveys and analyze data for construction alignment.
- Collaborate with project teams and ensure high accuracy in reporting.
4. Senior Scheduler
Department: Planning
Location: Karachi Office
Qualification:
- University degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience as a Project Scheduler in construction or mining.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project schedules and manage updates using Primavera P6.
- Support monthly reporting, audits, and risk planning.
5. Site Planner – Electrical
Department: Planning
Location: Karachi Office
Qualification:
- University degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in mining or Oil & Gas.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate project scheduling and integrate contractor schedules into the master plan.
- Provide timely forecasts and compliance with scheduling practices.
6. IT Officer
Department: IT
Location: Karachi Office
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support, manage networks, and conduct user training.
- Handle software/hardware setup and asset tracking.
