Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional for the following position in the area of Logistics, Communications & Marketing based in Lahore. The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title: Departmental Head – Mechanical (AVP/VP)
Reporting to: Wing Head-Central
Educational/Professional Qualification:
- Minimum B.E. and/or B.Tech. (Mechanical) from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC
- Candidates having a Master’s degree and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of experience in the relevant field
- Candidates having experience of working in a Bank and/or financial sector will be preferred
Other Skills/Expertise/Knowledge Required:
- Good working knowledge in project estimation, billing, and execution
- Ability to multitask with cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with strong business acumen
- Ability to work and manage time effectively and efficiently
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Outline of Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Review and submit requests for proposals of mechanical work and equipment for repairing/maintenance, renovation, and construction projects
- Lead and guide the mechanical department team for all assigned work/projects/targets
- Ensure that project budgets and timelines are strictly followed
- Monitor procurement/bidding process of mechanical work and compliance with Bank’s guidelines and PPRA rules
- Ensure timely delivery/completion of projects as per scope and specification of services, equipment & material pertaining to the mechanical department
Assessment Interview(s): Only shortlisted candidates strictly meeting the above-mentioned basic eligibility criteria will be invited for panel interview(s).
Employment Type: The employment will be on a contractual basis, for three years which may be renewed at the discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered a compensation package and other benefits as per Bank’s policy/rules.
