Detail About Project Implementation Unit Jobs 2024
The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of Sindh Forensic Science Laboratory Karachi invites applications from eligible candidates for various positions on a purely contractual basis for an initial period until June 2025. Interested individuals with domicile of Sindh are encouraged to apply. Only candidates with relevant expertise in their respective fields will be considered.
- Procurement and Contract Management Officer
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Master’s degree in Economics or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical) with at least a second division from an HEC recognized university. Professional courses in Procurement and Contract Management are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the private sector, proficiency in preparing PCI procurement documents, and familiarity with SPPRA procedures.
- Financial Management Officer
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: MBA in Finance or Commerce from an HEC recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the public sector and private organizations, including financial documentation, financial reporting system development, and working with government projects.
- Electrical Engineer
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from an HEC recognized university, with at least a second division. Professional Engineer registration from PEC is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical works for building construction projects, infrastructure, electrical works in forensic structures, recording of repairs, and proficiency in report writing.
- Legal Surveyor
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: DAE (Civil) with a minimum of second division from an HEC recognized institute.
- Experience: Candidates with a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience and proficiency in drafting legal documents are required.
- Office Assistant
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least a second division from an HEC recognized university, along with an IT diploma/certificate from the Sindh Technical Board.
- Experience: Proficiency in MS Excel and at least 5 years of relevant experience in public sector work.
- Driver
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Matriculation with a valid driving license and motorcycle (self-start).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in driving with knowledge of Karachi city routes.
- Reader
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Matriculation from an HEC recognized board.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the public or private sector, proficiency in simple English/Urdu sentences, and familiarity with office cleanliness and affairs.
- Office Boy
- Number of Positions: 01
- Qualification: Matriculation from an HEC recognized board.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the public or private sector with the ability to speak and write simple English/Urdu sentences and maintain discipline in the office.
