Heavy Industries Taxila Board is looking for enthusiastic, energetic, motivated, and creative candidates for the following post on a regular basis:
Assistant Works Manager (AWM) (BPS-17)
Technology: Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics/ Mechatronics/Computer/Metallurgical
Qualification/Experience:
- BE BS/B.Sc (Engg) or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.2 from an HEC recognized institute registered with PEC.
- Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
- For Metallurgical: M.Sc in Chemical/Physics/Chemistry technology or B.Sc in Chemical Engineering/Physics/Chemistry/Metallurgy Engineering. Experience in relevant field will be preferred. OR Retired EME officer (Major/Captain) with a minimum of 05 years service as a commissioned officer and having a basic course at School College of E & ME. Experience in the relevant field will be preferred.
Age Limit:
- For Civil: 20-35 yrs
- For Ex-Military: Up to 50 yrs

Candidates having expertise in the following disciplines will be given preference:
- Mechanical:
- Creo
- LS Dyna
- Abaqus
- Ansys mechanical
- MATLAB
- Electrical/Electronics:
- Embedded design experience with a focus on hardware & software co-design.
- Power electronics experience with understanding of high-frequency systems.
- Non-linear controls experience with a focus on platform stabilization.
- Digital communication experience with proficiency in system level integration and preferably having an understanding of CAN base architectures.
- Mechatronics:
- ISE/Vivado from Xilinx
- Quartos prime from Intel
- Micro vision Kiel for MCUS
- Lab view for embedded and real-time controls
- Altium designer for circuit analysis/simulation.
- Metallurgy:
- Expertise in Heat Treatment, Surface Treatment, Foundry/Casting, Forging, Microstructure Studies, and Material Development.
- Computer:
- Expertise in characterization techniques and testing standards.
- Ability to measure performance of various materials in accordance with specifications.
- Ability to develop, process, combines, and test materials.
- Based on data gathered and expertise able to identify and recommend the most appropriate materials for specific application.
