Shift Engineer (Utilities and Effluent Treatment Plant)

Experience: 8 – 12 years

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) / Bachelor of Engineering (Petroleum)

Age Limit: 28 – 35 years

Job Description

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or petroleum engineering.
Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in Petroleum Refinery/Petrochemical/ Fertilizer.
Experience in Utilities (Instrument air, Cooling tower, Raw water, Fire water, Flare system, Fuel oil/gas systems, Demineralized water plant, Boilers and Condensate recovery system) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
Experience with DCS (Distributed Control System), preferably YOKOGAWA Centum-VP/ Honeywell Experion – PKS.

Responsibilities:

Lead shift team (including Field Operators and DCS Operators) of Utilities/ETP to ensure safe and smooth plant operation as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Handle and coordinate start-ups, shutdowns, and plant emergencies.
Responsible for safely handing over equipment for maintenance jobs and re-commissioning.
Follow day-to-day operational and maintenance activities.
Monitor operational parameters and lab results and take necessary corrective actions. Ensure that all operating parameters and lab results are in the normal range.
Interact with all services departments, Shift Engineers of other process units, and oil movement to maintain plant equipment in good and healthy condition.
Monitor equipment to ensure safe, smooth, efficient & reliable operation. Ensure cleanliness and good housekeeping.
Identify, analyze, and solve operational problems, including safety and environmental issues.

Engineer (Field Maintenance)

Qualification: Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics)

Job Description

Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering.
Practical Experience in maintenance of Instrumentation and Automation Systems in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, or related industries.
Well familiar with HSEQ Standards / Work Practices in a Fuel Oil Refinery / Petrochemical Plants, Hands-on experience on Enterprise Resource Planner (ERP) System e.g. SAP, Good understanding of P&IDs, Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Charts, PFDs, interlocking Drawings, etc.
Good Communication and Presentation Skills. Strong analytical skills, including statistical skills.
Practical maintenance troubleshooting experience on advanced Electronics Type Flow meters, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitter, Speed Monitoring System, Vibration Monitoring system, Control Valves, Positioners, Solenoid Operated Valves, Limit Switches, Pressure & Temperature Gauges, analyzers, and F&G Detection system and all types of field instruments.

Experience: 02 to 03 years’ experience.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring the availability of Field Instrumentation Systems as per Process requirements.
Ensure timely completion of Preventive, Corrective, Breakdown, Shutdown, and Turnaround Maintenance activities.
Ensure the compliance of the PARCO Corporate Policies, Guidelines, Procedures, and applicable Regulatory requirements in his group and arrange trainings and provide guidance to his staff so that they grow to their full potential.
Carry out cost optimization studies to reduce the overall cost of Field Instrumentation maintenance services.
Provide field instrumentation-related maintenance inputs on Modification / Engineering Packages, Contractor Scope of Works, and Technical Evaluations.
Effectively coordinate with relevant sections to ensure the availability of adequate levels of stock materials and spares to sustain field instrumentation maintenance.
