Job Type: Contract basis (initial period of two years)
Job Description:
Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory in Islamabad seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators . As a CNC Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure accurate and efficient production of parts. This is a contract position for the duration of two years, subject to renewal based on performance and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and control CNC machines to perform precision machining tasks.
- Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper calibration.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of orders.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Technology with at least a 2nd Division from a recognized Board of Technical Education.
- Minimum one year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator.
- Preference will be given to candidates with:
- More than one year of hands-on experience.
- Training or certification from a recognized professional institute.
Age Limit:
- 18 to 25 years + 5 years general age relaxation in the upper age limit on the closing date for receipt of applications as per the advertisement.
- Age relaxation of 3 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Buddhist Community, Sindh Urban/Rural & Baluchistan, in addition to general relaxation.
- Ex-servicemen will have their upper age limit relaxed to the extent of 15 years or the number of years served in the Armed Forces of Pakistan, whichever is less.

- Download the application form from the Pakistan Railways website www.pakrail.gov.pk or collect it from the office of the Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Carriage Factory, Islamabad.
- Submit your application along with duly attested copies of all educational/technical certificates/documents, experience certificate, character certificate, domicile, CNIC, 2 fresh passport-size photographs, and 2 envelopes with your postal address and registered stamp.
- Applications should be delivered to the office of the undersigned through registered post/courier services/by hand within 15 days from the date of issue of the advertisement.
- Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
- Only eligible candidates will be called for a practical test and interview.
- Original documents must be presented by candidates at the time of the interview.
