The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan is looking for suitable candidates for various job positions. These positions include Assistant Professor (BPS-19) on a 3-year contract basis, Lecturer (BPS-18) on a regular basis, and Lab Engineer (BPS-17) on a regular basis. The qualifications and experience required for each post are mentioned below.

Job Positions and Qualifications

Assistant Professor (BPS-19) – 3 Years Contract
- Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University or Institute.
- PEC Registration as Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Up to 45 years with relaxation as per the Authority’s guidelines.
Lecturer (BPS-18) – Regular
- Minimum Qualification: First Class MS/MPhil equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University or Institution with no 3rd division in the academic career.
- PEC Registration in the relevant field is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Up to 35 years with relaxation as per the Authority’s guidelines.
Lab Engineer (BPS-17) – Regular
- Minimum Qualification: BE/BSc Engineering (16 Years of Education) in the relevant field with 1 division or 2.7 CGPA out of 4.0 from an HEC recognized University or DAI.
- PEC Registration as Civil Engineer is mandatory.
- Age Limit: Up to 33 years with relaxation as per the Authority’s guidelines.

Contract Basis Appointment

The appointment on a 3-year contract basis will be initially for six (06) months, extendable up to a maximum of three (3) years based on satisfactory performance or until the arrival of an employee appointed on a regular basis on the same sanctioned post, whichever is earlier.

Application Process

Interested candidates who meet the required criteria can submit application forms, available on the University website (www.uetmardan.edu.pk), along with attested photocopies of educational testimonials (degrees/certificates, transcripts/DMCs), experience certificates, copy of CNIC, one recent photograph, and original fee deposit receipts to the Registrar’s office at UET Mardan on or before August 15, 2023.
Duly filled application forms along with the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 3,000/- for Sr. No.1 and Sr. No.2, and Rs. 2,000/- for Sr. No.3 must be deposited in any branch of Bank of Khyber (throughout Pakistan) in the University Account titled “Miscellaneous Fund UETM,” Branch Code: 0179, Account No. 003001354859.
The application must include documentary proof of qualifications, experiences, publications, etc. up to the last date of submission of the application.
Original documents along with CNIC and domicile must be presented during the test/interview.
Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate application forms along with the original bank receipt for each post.

No TA/DA will be given for attending the test/interview.
