Barrick Gold Corporation is seeking a high-caliber team for the development of its outstanding, world-class mining project, the Reko Diq copper-gold mine in Balochistan.
Contract Specialist
Department: Commercial
Location: Karachi
Qualification: Commercial Law Degree, or similar
Experience Requirements: 5 years of on-site working experience associated with EPC/EPCM contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate contract compliance, communication, and documentation.
- Support project stakeholders in managing progress, variations, and claims efficiently.
- Extensive knowledge of construction contracts such as NEC, FIDIC, EPC, and EPCM-related agreements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Sr. Officer Community Engagement
Department: Community Relations
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site, Balochistan
Qualification: Master’s degree preferred (Sociology/Social Work/Social Sciences)
Experience Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Promote transparent and proactive stakeholder engagement.
- Manage grievance mechanisms.
- Facilitate community meetings.
Sr. Officer Community Grievance
Department: Community Relations
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site, Balochistan
Qualification: Master’s degree preferred (Sociology/Social Work/Social Sciences)
Experience Requirements: At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, investigate, and resolve community grievances.
- Promote dialogue, mediation, and preventive measures for peaceful conflict resolution and community development.
- Command on Microsoft Office.
CSR Project Engineer
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site, Nok Kundi, Balochistan
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field (structural engineers preferred)
Experience Requirements: 7-10 years’ experience in community-focused initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead planning and execution of community construction projects.
- Collaborate with teams and craft Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Oversee procurement and ensure compliance.
Graduate Geotechnical Engineer
Department: MRM
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site, Balochistan
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering / Geological Engineering / Geology or similar
Experience Requirements: At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate geotechnical aspects and manage fieldwork.
- Integrate models into mine plans and implement solutions.
- Supervise field teams and assist in report preparation.
