Detail About Planning Commission Irrigation Department Karachi

The Irrigation Department is actively seeking qualified applicants for the position of Project Director to provide effective leadership and continuous support for the successful implementation of the Project.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an HEC recognized University/Institute.
- Candidates with a Master’s in Irrigation & Hydraulics/Water Resources Planning & Management or a Degree in Project Management will be given preference.
Experience:
- A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification working experience in project management and the implementation/execution of large water/irrigation/hydraulic projects, with at least 5 years in a senior-level position.
Civil Servants are eligible to compete for the Project Director positions and, upon appointment, will apply for a three-year leave from service.
Proven excellent financial, technical, procurement, and management skills.

EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS:

The Project Director will be responsible for implementing the project as per the guidelines and shall report to the Secretary Irrigation, Government of Sindh.
The selected candidate will be offered a salary package, perks, and privileges in accordance with the existing policy of the Government of Sindh.

REQUIREMENTS:

The candidate must possess the Domicile PRC of the Sindh Province.
The maximum age of the candidate should not exceed 63 years on the date of appointment.
