Detail About paid Internship 2023 UHS Lahore
Internship Details:
- Duration: Maximum of 6 months
- Location: UHS City or Jinnah Campus, Lahore
- Working Hours: Full-time with the University IT Team
- Responsibilities: Building IT-based systems for the university and providing information to the public through the Facilitation Centre.
Stipend and Allowance:
The selected interns will be offered a fully paid internship and will receive a stipend/allowance per month as per the prevailing rates of the Government of Punjab.
Eligibility Criteria:
For IT/Software Engineering/Hardware Engineering Interns:
- Completion of BS/MS in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Punjab domicile and age not exceeding 25 years on the last date of application
- Knowledge of IT standards, software/network, software development cycle, and Hardware Engineering
- Familiarity with at least one programming language and relational databases
- Knowledge of Net Technology Languages/Frameworks/Systems (e.g., C#, Web Forms, MVC, Core) OR Core PHP and MVC frameworks
- Ability to learn new languages and techniques.
For Information Desk Representatives:
- Completion of Masters or Equivalent in English Literature
- Proficient in English (oral and written)
- Sufficient knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
