Minimum Qualification & Experience
For Engineering, Information Technology, and Computing Programs
- Associate Professor
- Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Experience:
- 10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized institute or 10 years professional experience (2 years teaching experience).
OR - 5 years post-PhD teaching/research/professional experience.
- 10 years teaching/research experience in a recognized institute or 10 years professional experience (2 years teaching experience).
- Publications: 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals (4 in the last 5 years).
- Assistant Professor
- Qualification: PhD in relevant field from a university recognized by HEC.
- Experience:
- 4 years teaching/research/professional experience for PhD holders.
OR - MS/M.Phil. in Engineering or IT (First Division) for certain disciplines.
- 4 years teaching/research/professional experience for PhD holders.
- Lecturer
- Qualification: MS or M.Phil. (First Division) in Engineering or IT from an HEC-recognized university.
- Note: Applicants with a third division in their academic career are not eligible.
For Law Discipline
- Associate Professor
- Qualification: PhD in Law or LLM (second division) recognized by HEC.
- Experience:
- 10 years teaching/research/professional experience.
OR - 5 years post-PhD teaching/research/professional experience.
- 10 years teaching/research/professional experience.
- Publications: 10 research publications in HEC-recognized journals (4 in the last 5 years).
- Assistant Professor
- Qualification: PhD in Law or LLM (First Division) recognized by HEC.
- Experience: 4 years teaching/research/professional experience.
- Lecturer
- Qualification: LLB (First Division) or equivalent qualification.
