Job Description: Engro Energy Limited is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Officer – Electrical & Instruments at our Thar Site Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the maintenance of power generation systems, transmission and distribution systems, and ensuring compliance with organizational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies. The candidate will also perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation as required.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic with 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
- Familiarity with power generation systems and transmission/distribution systems.
- Understanding of HSE policies and procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Overall Responsibilities:
- Monitor the maintenance of 14.4 MW diesel-based and 5 MW Solar Photovoltaic-based power generation systems, along with transmission and distribution systems.
- Adhere to organizational HSE policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with set performance parameters.
- Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance, repair, and installation of new equipment as needed.
- Provide necessary information for the procurement of preventative and corrective electrical maintenance of equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained according to factory specifications and meets or exceeds industry standards.
- Respond to routine and emergency calls, coordinating necessary repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify deficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
