Job Description: Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Assistant Manager (HVAC) to join our team on a contract basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of HVAC plants and equipment. If you have a strong background in mechanical/electrical/HVAC engineering and possess the required experience, we encourage you to apply for this position.
Qualifications/Experience:
- DAE / B.Tech (Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC); preferably, BE (Mech) PEC registered.
- At least 10-15 years of proven experience for DAE candidates and 3-5 years’ experience for BE candidates in HVAC plant operation and maintenance.
- Must have experience in fault finding and rectification of split/floor standing AC units, gas charging, brazing, cutting, and other related services.
Age: Less than 45 years.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of HVAC plants and equipment.
- Conduct fault finding and rectification of split/floor standing AC units.
- Perform gas charging, brazing, cutting, and other necessary services.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure efficient and effective HVAC system performance.
- Monitor and maintain HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
