Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is inviting applications from qualified candidates for Deputy Manager (Engineering Design) and Assistant Manager (Engineering Design) positions on a contract basis. These roles require expertise in mechanical and industrial engineering design for complex projects, including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, cranes, racks, and hydraulic systems.

Available Positions

Position	Qualification / Experience
Deputy Manager (Engineering Design)	– BE / B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Industrial / Automotive / Mechatronics) from a recognized institution. – At least 05–08 years’ experience for BE, 10–15 years for B.Tech, and 15–20 years for DAE in drafting/designing hydraulic gates, stop logs, trash racks, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, and cranes. – Proficiency in AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, ABAQUS, ANSYS, PRO-E, CATIA, hydraulic calculations software, and stress analysis.
Assistant Manager (Engineering Design)	– BE / B.Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Industrial / Automotive / Mechatronics) from a recognized institution. – At least 03 years’ experience for BE, 05–07 years for B.Tech, and 10–15 years for DAE in drafting/designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, cranes, racks, hydraulic gates, and stop logs. – Proficiency in AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, ABAQUS, ANSYS, PRO-E, CATIA.

Key Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of mechanical design and drafting.
Hands-on experience in designing industrial systems and mechanical structures.
Proficiency in engineering design software such as AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS, ABAQUS, ANSYS, PRO-E, CATIA.
Experience in stress and hydraulic calculations will be preferred.
Age relaxation possible for extraordinary candidates.
