Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO), under the auspices of the Energy & Power Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is seeking applications from qualified, dynamic, and competent professionals for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position offers a unique opportunity to lead and shape the energy landscape of the region. The appointment will be for a period of three years or at the pleasure of the government.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic direction and vision of PEDO in alignment with the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Oversee the implementation of energy projects, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide leadership to multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical/Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, or Master’s Degree (16 Years of Education) in Management Sciences, Natural Science, or Law from a recognized institution.
- Fifteen years of experience in Energy, Engineering, Law, Administration, or Finance, as specified in Section (9)(3) of the PEDO Act, 2020, with at least five years at the top management level.
- Domicile: Candidate must be a citizen of Pakistan, with preference given to residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
- Age: Maximum age limit of 62 years on the closing date of application submission.
Salary, Perks, and Privileges:
- The CEO shall be entitled to a market-based salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, subject to negotiation and approval by the Policy Board.
