Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Second Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s Degree from an HEC recognized university.
- Degree must include Economics, Commerce, Statistics, Accounting, Computer Science, Law, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Physics or B.Sc Engineering in any discipline.
Physical Standards
- Male Candidates:
- Height: 5′ 6″
- Chest: 32″-33.5″
- Female Candidates:
- Height: 5′ 2″
Other Eligible Categories
- Retired Pakistan Armed Forces personnel of JCO rank are also eligible under Section 226 of the Customs Act, 1969.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age (including 5 years general relaxation): 30 years

How to FBR Sub-Inspector Jobs 2025 Apply Online
- Apply Online at National Job Portal (NJP) – No manual/hard copy applications will be accepted.
- Separate applications must be submitted for each post.
- Appointments will be made purely on contract basis for 2 years, extendable as per government rules.
- Original documents must be produced at the time of the interview.
- Physical fitness tests will be mandatory for Sub-Inspector posts, including running, push-ups, chin-ups etc.
- 10% quota for women and 5% for minorities will be strictly observed.
Selection Process
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Test/Interview.
- All applicants will be provisionally allowed to appear for tests, subject to scrutiny.
- No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview attendance.
