1. Emergency Officers / Rescue Commanders (PPS – 07)
- Number of Posts: 04
Eligibility Criteria:
- MBBS with specialization and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in trauma management, critical emergency patient care, ambulance rescue services, or emergency response and disaster management. OR
- Bachelor’s in civil/structural engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

2. Station In-charge / Deputy Rescue Commanders (PPS-6)
- Number of Posts: 04
- Place of Posting: Mirpur Khas: 01, Shaheed Benazirabad: 01, Sukkur: 01, Karachi: 01
Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduation/M.Sc in Environmental Sciences/Social Sciences/Emergency & Intensive Care from a recognized institute with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Certification from NABOSH/IOSH or occupational Health & Safety courses from a recognized institute will be given preference.
Age: 25-38
3. DERT Rescuer (PPS-02)
- Number of Posts: 20
- Place of Posting: Karachi: 20
Eligibility Criteria:
- Matriculation or DAE (chemical, electronics, mining, mechanical, civil) from a recognized technical board or institution.
- Swimmers will be given preference.
4. Paramedics (PPS-05)
- Number of Posts: 25
- Place of Posting: Karachi: 25
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18-30
- Bachelor’s in Nursing with 2-3 years of experience in any emergency rescue organization, public sector, hospital, or ambulance service.

Emergency Services uniformed personnel should be physically and mentally fit with a strong character to handle challenging situations such as accidents, trauma emergencies, extrications from car or bus crashes, shifting critically unconscious patients to nearby hospitals, building collapses, water and flood rescues, deep well rescues, height and fire building rescues, and evacuations from airplane or railway crashes.
Selected candidates will undergo 4-5 months of professional hands-on training at the National Emergency Services Academy, Rescue 1122.
The final selection will be made after successful completion of training and a 6-month probation period.
