Applications are invited from interested candidates having the prescribed educational qualifications, experience, and age limit criteria as mentioned below for the following position at the Head Office of the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC):

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the IT & Automation strategy in light with Digital transformation and PEC overall goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain a strong IT development team to focus on current PEC challenges and deliver technology solutions.
- Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and ensuring the achievement of departmental targets.
- Drive digital transformation & innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, systems, and applications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, data protection standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team for future improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer System Engineering/Software Engineering/IT/IS or equivalent, registered with PEC; OR M.C.S./M.Sc. (Computer Science) BCS/ B.S.IT, or equivalent recognized by NCEAC/HEC.
- Postgraduate master’s degree (18 years) duly recognized by HEC in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Computer System Engineering/Software Engineering/IT/IS, MBA-(IT)/(IS), or in any IT-related field will be preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 17 years post-qualification experience (after completion of 16 years of education).
- At least 05 years of experience in an independent managerial position in the field of Computer Systems/IT/MIS.
- Proven experience in Digital Transformation, Project Management, Data Migrations, Database/Oracle/SQL Server/Open Source DBs, Software Services Architecture Development, and E-governance/office automation systems.
Related Skills/Certifications:
- Training, certifications, or short courses on Time Management, Leadership, Change Management, Stress Management, Coaching, or any IT related field are preferred.
