Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the PM Youth Laptop Scheme 2025, students must meet the following criteria:
- Enrolled in Public Sector Institutes: Recognized by HEC, including Gilgit-Baltistan, AJK, and FATA.
- Programs Eligible:
- PhD/MS/MPhil or equivalent 18-year program (excluding weekend programs)
- 1.5 or 2-year Master’s Programs (excluding weekend)
- 4-year Bachelor’s or 5-year Programs (morning and evening)
- Academic Performance:
- Semester system: Minimum 2.80 CGPA or 70% marks
- Annual system: Minimum 60% marks
- Must have a valid CNIC/B-Form.
- CGPA to percentage calculation shall be as per HEC defined formula.
Ineligibility Conditions
Students are not eligible if they fall under the following:
- Enrolled in private sector institutes.
- Enrolled at government degree colleges or affiliated colleges.
- Previously received laptops from any other federal/provincial scheme.
- Foreign nationals (except AJK).
- Did not apply or whose application was not submitted online.
- Unable to produce academic documents at the time of distribution.
- Graduated before distribution phase begins.
