The Ministry of Defence, Government of Pakistan, invites applications from Pakistani nationals for multiple job positions on a contract basis (one year, extendable based on performance) under the PSDP Project titled:
Development of ICT and Artificial Intelligence (AI) Based Precision Agriculture Systems Utilizing Dual-Use Aerospace Technologies-GreenAI
These positions are based at NASTP, Rawalpindi and report under the Ministry of Defence, Pakistan.
Available Positions
1. Senior Scientific Officer
- Pay Scale: PPS-9
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- Ph.D. / MS (DSP, Embedded Systems, etc.)
- 5 years of experience in research, design, and development of DSP systems
- Responsible for research, design, and development activities for GP-SAR
2. Scientific Officer
- Pay Scale: PPS-8
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- MS / BE (DSP, Embedded, HPC, etc.)
- 3 years of relevant experience in system design & development
- Responsible for design & development of GP-SAR
3. Software / HPC / Cloud Architect
- Pay Scale: PPS-7
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- MS / BS (Computer Science/ Software/ HPC/ Data Science, etc.)
- Specialization in Cloud Architecture preferred
- 3 years’ experience in system design & development
4. Computer Assistant
- Pay Scale: PPS-6
- No. of Posts: 02
- Qualification & Experience:
- Trained computer operator
- Preferably with a diploma and 1-year relevant experience
5. UAS Operator
- Pay Scale: PPS-6
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- Trained UAS Pilot with 1-year relevant experience
- Responsibilities include:
- Test flights and UAS system maintenance
- Executing & canceling test flights to assess UAV performance & stability
- Creating test plans & protocols for UAV maneuverability, payload integration, etc.
6. Research Associate
- Pay Scale: PPS-5
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- Postgraduate / MS in a relevant field of research
- PhD Scholar preferred
7. Research Assistant
- Pay Scale: PPS-4
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate (BS/MS or equivalent) in relevant research field
- MS / PhD Scholars preferred
8. Naib Qasid
- Pay Scale: PPS-1
