Applications are now open for a fully funded Postgraduate Scholarship 2025 for a Master’s (MS) Program in Naval Architecture from NUST – Karachi, leading to a rewarding career at Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Ltd (KS&EW).
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Maximum: 26 Years
Qualifications
Candidates must fulfill the following academic qualifications:
a. Required Degrees:
- BE in:
- Naval Architecture
- Marine
- Mechanical
- Electrical
- Mechanical / Manufacturing
- Automotive
- Aerospace
- Industrial and Manufacturing
- Degrees must be accredited by PEC / HEC in relevant disciplines.
b. Academic Background:
- Minimum 16 years of education or 4 years post-HSSC/A-Level in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum:
- CGPA of 2.0/4.0
- OR 55% marks (Only applicable if CGPA is not mentioned on transcript).
c. Application Requirement:
All candidates must apply online for NUST Admission Registration.
d. Entry Test Requirement:
Candidates should appear in one of the following, as per NUST guidelines:
- GRE / GAT / GNET / HAT

Terms and Conditions

| Bond Duration | Minimum 8 years at KS&EW after MS completion |
| Withdrawal Clause | If performance is unsatisfactory, scholarship will be withdrawn. Candidate must refund up to Rs. 1.5 Million |
| NOC Requirement | If employed, candidate must submit NOC from employer |
| Final Selection | Based on interview + submitted score |
