PPL SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES 2023-24
Higher Professional Education Scholarship in Engineering, Medicine, Information Technology, Business Administration, and Education
To promote education in areas around its operational fields, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) announces a special scholarship scheme for students from PPL producing districts in the country who are presently enrolled in professional bachelor’s/master’s level degree programs at public sector universities across the country.
The Higher Professional Education scholarship scheme is dedicated for students belonging to the following areas and admitted in HEC-recognized public sector educational institutions across the country:
No. of scholarships:
- District Matiari: 6
- District Sanghar: 6
- District Chakwal: 5
- Tehsil Gujjar Khan, District Rawalpindi: 5
- UC Dakhnair & Chhab (Tehsil Jand, District Attock) with preference to UC Dakhnair: 5
Note: 2 scholarships in each of the above-mentioned operational areas are dedicated for female students.
Eligibility Criteria:
Students fulfilling the following common conditions are eligible to apply for the award of scholarships under the above-mentioned scheme:
- Is a bonafide, domiciled resident of the respective district.
- Has obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the last examination.
- Is in the early stages of their degree program, preferably 1 year.
- Not more than 28 years of age.
- Has never been involved in any criminal activities or acts of moral turpitude.
- Is not availing any other scholarship under any other scheme.
- Deserves financial support.
- Has secured admission in public sector universities/institutes.
Scholarships would be for a period of one year, extendable up to 4 years subject to satisfactory academic performance of the awardee and availability of funds for the scheme.
